IMO 2016 Singapore Team Results

Singapore came in 4th with 4 Gold 2 Silver (record), and total 196 points (record). Well done S'pore team!  Our best rank was 3rd, achieved in 2011. Our previous best medal haul was in 2011 too, with 4 Gold 1 Silver 1 Bronze and our previous highest total points was 182, attained in 2013.

The 57th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) will be held in Hong Kong, from 6 to 16 July 2016. The Singapore IMO 2016 Team comprises the following students:

USA is the top country. The last time USA came in top was in 1994, when they achieved 6 perfect scores!

Alex Song from Canada is the newly crowned king in Hall of Fame. Lim Jeck is now ranked joint 9th.

Singapore came in 10th with 1 Gold, 4 Silver and 1 Bronze.
This year's cut off points for Gold: Silver: Bronze are 26: 19: 14
